THE UNIVERSITY RECENTLY PURCHASED A PLAGIARISM SOFTWARE - "PLAGSCAN".  According to Wikipedia, the Plagscan: Online Plagiarism Checker is a "plagiarism detection" software, mostly used by academic institutions which compares submissions with web documents, journals and internal archives. Plagscan software was launched by Markus Goldbach and Johannes Knabe in 2009.

All students are required to attend the said orientation.  There will be a short quiz regarding the orientation.  Your attendance will also be checked on the day of the event.
