TThe revised Revised Proposal (Chapter 1&2) is reset on Friday, 31 May 2019 (instead of Monday, 27 May 2019) for the main reason of giving you time to improve your manuscript, incorporating my comments and suggestions. Please note that the old manuscripts (with my comments) and the three (3) hardcopies of the journal articles + one (1) thesis (cover page and abstract) will be part of the submission. Please check your emails for updates as well.
In addition, the Long Quiz will also be given on Friday covering Chapters 1-3 of Paler-Calmorin & Calmorin (2007), including the handouts provided thru the website. Finally, Assignment #6 ( Excel Application) is also due on Friday. The instruction is already available for download (under sub-heading) "Assignment" in the course/subject link). REMINDER: Previous assignments should be complied. Non-submission/non-compliance means a GRADE OF "INCOMPLETE in the subject." YOU CAN NOW DOWNLOAD HAND-OUT #5. The hand-out contains additional information about hypothesis, assumption, sampling, sampling design, data collection and processing.
There will be a seatwork to be done this week, including a long quiz. The seatwork will focus on APA citation and referencing while the long quiz will cover Chapters 1-3 of the textbook, Paler-Calmorin & Calmorin (2007). THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES THIS WEEK BUT PLEASE REMEMBER OF YOUR SUBMISSION OF CHAPTER 2: REVIEW OF LITERATURE. Submit your report to the Planning Office on or before 17 May 2019, not later than 5:00PM to ensure that there will be someone at the office to receive your reports. Otherwise, you can submit the report at the Guard Main Gate. Again, the report should already follow the prescribe format/template (cover page, paging, spacing, APA citatio and referencing).
SINCE THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES THIS WEEK, PLEASE WRITE YOUR DRAFT CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION. Following the sample research proposal available in the website, you are expected to write this chapter, highlighting the rationale of your research, including the research problem, objectives and hypotheses (if applicable), scope and limitation, including the research framework. DUE DATE: 21 MAY 2019 (TUESDAY). REQUIRED READINGS (PALER-CALMORIN & CALMORIN, 2007): CHAPTERS 3-5. |
