The initial concept or graphics of the logo will be graded. Please submit it in one short bond paper. Again, this is only preliminary output but at least your ideas will reflect on the said logo.

As it was briefly discussed during the Tuesday quick meet-up, Group Work Assignments #1 and 2 guidelines are already posted for downloading. This is also applies to Weds-Friday class that the deadline for Assignment #1 is already adjusted to allow the class to conceptualize the individual group's proposed profile and logo. In particular, please read and understand carefully the PICE MANUAL's Canons 1-7. A quiz will be given next week to cover these Canons. THIS IS A REMINDER FOR THOSE STUDENTS who have not submitted their assignments that you have until Wednesday, 29 January 2020 to submit your assignments, OTHERWISE YOU WILL RECEIVE ZERO (0) POINTS. Beyond that period, your assignments will not be accepted.
For those who have complied the deadline, your assignments are already available for pick-up at the Planning Office, including the notebooks until Wednesday, 29 January 2020. The notebooks were already available since last week and it is not responsibility of the office if ever your notebooks were missing. If the Planning Office is closed, you can visit the office in the New Administration Building (second floor, right side, first door). REMINDER: If you will not be able to get your assignments and notebooks from the Planning Office within the period specified, FIVE (5) POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR SCORE! There will be classes tomorrow, Saturday 25 January. Despite its non-working holiday declaration for 25th January in the celebration of Chinese New Year, classes both Methods of Research and Environmental Science will still continue. YOUR NOTEBOOKS ARE NOW available for pick-up at the Planning Office. The assignments will be the coverage of the lecture tomorrow, Friday. Please prepare for the class recitation.
PLEASE SUBMIT ON OR BEFORE FRIDAY, 17 JANUARY 2020, a revised and updated schedule of activities using the Gantt Chart to be acknowledged/signed by your adviser. This will determine the status or progress of the conduct of the research towards oral presentation. The schedule (date) of the final oral defense will be determined after all progress reports will be handed over. It is also expected that you have already done revision of the manuscripts based on the Plagscan assessment.

Aside from the Graduate Studies office, you can utilize the NDLTD website (http://search.ndltd.org/index.php) to get copies of thesis or dissertation for this assignment. Another option is, if you have colleagues or friends who graduated in the past, you can also use their theses as well, but it is encouraged that thesis should be related to your field of specialization.
Only photocopy or print the cover page and the abstract page to be included in the submission of the assignment. Please indicate the source of information at the end of the submission to proper acknowledgment of the source of the thesis. Please follow the instructions carefully in terms of paper size and do not use sliding folder or any paper folder but just simply staple it. DUE DATE: 25 JANUARY 2020 AS DISCUSSED DURING THE PREVIOUS CLASS, SUBMIT XEROX COPY OF YOUR REGISTRATION FORM (PER SUBJECT) to be included in the official list of students enrolled in the subjects not later than 10 JANUARY 2020 (Friday) to receive extra 2 points. Beyond that period, no point will be given, but you are still required to submit, otherwise you will not be included in the official list of students.
