READ THE HANDBOOK ON: Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000. It is available for download in CE315 Env Engg link. Answer the following questions.  Write (handwritten) your answers in short bond paper on or before 28 September 2018, 1PM. Similar or identical submission will get a score of 0/100.

Refer to our textbook, Paler-Palmorin and Palmorin (2007)

The specific tables are as follows: TABLE 4.1 (page 317); TABLE 4.3 (page 321); TABLE 4.4 (page 323).   Using MS EXCEL,  prepare the graphical presentations (bar chart, pie chart, line chart, etc.) fo these tables.  At least three (3) charts ( in colors) will be presented per table, and then explain/discuss the best chart (your own choice) that you think appropriate or  the graph that shows best of the table given. The book has also examples on how a graph looks like but you have to explore the features of Excel. Have your answers in a short/letter size bond paper, bearing your name. Submit and email to rsu.rpramos@gmail.com with proper subject title: Graduate Assignment on or before 29 September 2018. 

THERE WILL BE NO CLASS NEXT SATURDAY.

Our Dean, Dr. Servanez happily holding the overall champion trophy, together with Mr Fabello and Prof Andalencio.
On behalf of the college, I received all the banners of champions and the over-all champion trophy during the awarding ceremony. Sports Coordinator, CAFF Dean Andalencio and RSU President II, Dr. Arnulfo F. De Luna handed over the banners and trophy, respectively. Congratulations to the players, coaches,  committees, faculty and staff for the support and assistance during the week of the competition.

PLEASE GET COPIES OF YOUR GROUP CORRECTED RESEARCH PROPOSALS at the Planning Office. Revise and improve your group research proposals based on the comments/feed backs particularly following the format as prescribed in the Guidebook. 

For those groups who did not submit the required two (2) journal articles, please include these documents in your next submission, otherwise it will be marked, INCOMPLETE OR NO POINTS will be given.  All corrected previous copies of your group research proposals should be attached upon submission.

IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, your group is free to consult, just bring the corrected manuscript for reference and proper discussion towards improvement of your group research proposals.

CE/EE RES512 Research Study 2: Submit Revised Chapters 1 to 3, due on 10 Sep 2018

FOLLOWING THE GUIDEBOOK, SUBMIT the revised version of your Chapters 1 to 3, incorporating the preliminary pages of the research report (thesis).  This submission should contain the complete pages as specified in the guidebook such as cover page,  approval sheet (leave blanks the names of the panel members), acknowledgment, table of contents, list of tables (with page no), list of figures (with page no), list of appendices,  abstract, bio-sketch of the authors, and the revised write-up of Chapters 1-3.  You can include Chapter 4, if you have done preliminary results of your study. 

REMINDER: THIS IS NOT A RESEARCH PROPOSAL REPORT ANYMORE. This report is already an output of your on-going researches.  It is expected that Chapters 1-3 have already been revised and improved, particularly Chapter 3 which contains the documentation of your research methodology. Please take note of the comments and recommendations of the Members of the Panel during the Topic Defense last 23 July 2018 which should be incorporated in the revised report. For those who have changed their topics, make sure that you have to submit the first draft of your Chapters 1-3 including the other pages stipulated in the guidebook.

This is intended for Wednesday class, 2:30-5:30PM.  Please coordinate with other classes (Tuesday, 11:30-1:00 and Wednesday, 8:30- 11:30) for the mechanics/details of the individual assignment on making a graph using EXCEL Microsoft. Unfortunately, the instruction was not given during the class this week for this particular assignment to be submitted on  05 Sep 2018.
