THE FINAL EXAMINATION is rescheduled on March 29, Friday 8-9AM at ET05. The exam will cover major questions/items from the previous examinations/quizzes. Only rainfall calculation will also be covered in the examination. Make sure you have read the prescribed e-books particularly on definition of terms. Bring your own calculators and borrowing is not allowed during the examination.

Final submission of the research proposal is set on 01 April 2019 (Monday), on or before 5PM. THIS IS TO REMIND THE CLASS that the final submission of Chapters 1, 2 and 3 is set on Saturday, 23 March 2019. This is in preparation for the oral presentation on 30 March 2019.
Non-submission of these chapters will not allow you to present your research proposal. THUS, YOU WILL BE WITHDRAWN FROM THE CLASS. In preparation for the oral presentation, a power point presentation (PPP) material is required which will highlight the ff: Background of the research proposal, rationale of the study; objectives of the study, brief discussion of the review of literature, and summary of the methodology in terms of study area, respondents and statistical analysis (if applicable). The tentative list of the topics/titles below will be finalized as soon as the revised draft copies of the research proposals. If you can not submit on the date specified above, then you will not be included in the final oral presentation. REMINDER: If you fail the final examination, you will automatically take the removal examination. FAILURE IN THE REMOVAL EXAMINATION means a FAILING GRADE in the subject. A QUIZ WILL BE GIVEN on March 5 (Tuesday class) and March 7 (Thursday class) covering RA 9184. Aside from RA 9184, some salient features of GPPB and PhilGEPS website will be included in the examination. Just make sure you read article provisions related to BAC membership, bid documents, invitation to bid, and modes of procurement, and PhilGEPS membership.
This is to inform the class that the re-defense of the research project is set on March 6, 2019, Wednesday at Computer Lab room. Please ensure that the room is properly set-up. As usual, you need to prepare the necessary power point presentation, highlighting the results of the research. Finally, make sure that the Panel of Examiners for your research got your manuscripts this weekend, otherwise they will not be able to read your papers, thus, they may raise alot of questions which you will not be able to answer and finalize your reports on time.
