INSTRUCTIONS: The preparation of the Final Group Work covers mainly the identification of methodology and approach, including the identification of the key personnel as well as the cost (budget requirement) to undertake the preparation of the FS Report. The FS Reports are already completed as presented below.   READ THESE REPORTS CAREFULLY AND UNDERSTAND THE INFORMATION COVERED BY THE REPORTS. 

The technical and financial proposals will not cover the preparation of the detailed design and cost estimates in the rehabilitation and redevelopment of the airports, but rather your group will identify the work to be done and the personnel/staff/manpower (including the cost/expenses) it require in preparing the detailed design, specifications and cost estimates. 

The main documents to be submitted both in the technical and financial proposals are as follows: (a) a covering letter/letter of intent, signifying/expressing that your group (company) is interested to participate and submit the bid for the proposed project;  (b) Technical Proposal - a project description, methodology/approach, scope of work/activities, manpower requirements/responsibilities/tasks with man-months (duration of involvement) and professional qualifications, schedule of activities  ( in gantt chart), and other relevant information that will boost your company's capabilities to undertake the project; (c) Financial Proposal - a summary of the cost estimate, print-out of the detailed computations with unit cost or lump-sum cost. of the major activities/components of the project (manpower, logistics, overhead, contigencies, special services such as surveying, environmental impact assessment, travel analysis, geotechnical services, etc). The cost reflects the current or prevailing rates in the country (daily minimum wage, overtime pay, allowance/per diem, transportation, accommodation, rental, etc.).

Queries during the week of the submission of the  final report will not be entertained.  Please raise your questions during the class for the benefit of the many or you can post in the message box below.
